AlkanSSSya ng Bayan (Since 2011)

This is a joint project with the Social Security System (SSS) and is aimed at reaching out and widening the coverage of the SSS membership to include "informal workers" like tricycle drivers, vendors and other self-employed residents. It also aspires to teach them to save in order to secure for their family's future. Councilor Corro noted that many fail to sustain their SSS membership despite its many benefits due to failure to remit monthly contributions regularly. One reason is that the waiting period of one month tempts the members to use the money for more pressing needs. To ensure regular contributions, SSS designed a steel money bank (alkansya) with 160 slots where members can drop P10 in designated slots daily, an amount that is easy on the pocket. In a month's time, a member would have paid the minimum contribution of P312. The money bank is set up near the place of work of these workers. Councilor Corro, who paid for the money bank, goes on sorties of tricycle terminals with representatives to explain the benefits of the program. The positive response paved the way for the launching of the first AlkanSSSya in November 2012.
Since then, additional AlkanSSSya had been set up for the following groups: Soldiers' Hills Tricycle Terminal; Samahang Pinagpala, Bayanan; Bagong Sibol, Putatan; Espeleta Pantalan, Poblacion; Esporlas Itaas, Putatan; and Katarungan Village Tricycle Operators and Drivers' Association.

Libreng Hatid-Sundo sa Paaralan (Since 2010)

When he conceived this project, Councilor Corro had in mind the welfare of poor public school pupils who had to walk long distances to and from school five days a week because they have no money for fare. He hoped that giving them free rides would help reduce if not eliminate school drop-outs. The Councilor noted statistics result showing that poverty is the main reason why kids quit school. The project is also his way of showing support to the Division of City Schools of Muntinlupa which seeks to ensure that children of school age must not only avail of free education, but must remain in school until they graduate. The Councilor's Office provides two Isuzu ELF vehicles for this purpose.
Harana ng Bayan (Since 2001)

Haran ng Bayan is a free cultural program aimed at entertaining Muntinlupenos through live performances of a band of singers (15 members) during wakes, birthdays, wedding anniversaries, reunions and other occasions. The singers render both old (Kundiman) and modern songs, showcasing the Filipinos' versatility and talent in music. Councilor Corro, known in Muntinlupa as the "Singing Councilor", believes that this program will help revive the Kundiman and help promote Filipino songs among residents.
